I was blessed with a culturally colourful home. Being raised by parents with contrasting cultural backgrounds - a charismatic Nicaraguan father and a strong-willed Taiwanese mother - is what nurtured my passion and curiosity for our world and its people.

Photography came to me in a time of self-searching. It gave me the chance to escape from difficult moments in my life, forcing me to get out into the world and ultimately reminding me that there is a whole lot of beauty out there waiting for us to find it. Today my camera has become to a degree, a personal refuge. A way in which I can both explore and remember this one life that I've been gifted with.
