Artist, wife, mother, lover of dance, books, cooking, and primarily people. I try to make sense of the world through the process of painting and creating joy in the beauty I see around me. I love plein air painting and flowers, both growing and painting them, as well as portraits and architectural subjects. I enjoy abstract expression in color and brushwork techniques and love to see what happens on the canvas. It's fun to mix the aspects of control and freedom in creating with the elements of design. I love meeting people and relating to them in significant interactions. I feel I would like to effect the world in some small way with love and art.
