Lisa was previously a Newspaper staff photographer for a midsize paper in Connecticut from 1986-1990. During that tenure she traveled extensively to Cold War countries such as East Germany, Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union in the late eighties. Included in her travels she had the great fortune to photograph heads of state such as Micheal Gorbachev, Vaclav Havel and Ronald Reagan, George and Barbara Bush. She has shot stories about Chernobyl, the Kremlin, the Berlin Wall, and the White House. She is presently a High school photography and fine arts teacher. She has been teaching for 21 years at levels from prekindergarten to college. Her preference is high school. She now works with her students to show there work, win awards and continue their craft in higher education institutions.
