Over het boek
Minimalist photography draws inspiration from the minimalist art movement – a style used by many American visual artists in the 1960s and early 1970s. Minimalism is highly simplistic; it uses a minimum of compositional elements such as shape, color, and line. Remaining compositional elements should convey the overall idea, theme, or symbolism of the photograph. Minimalist art, or photography, should convey a concept—or an idea—provoke an emotional response, or provide a unique visual experience.
