Ian Parker
Californai
Ian Parker is a professor of neuroscience at the University of California, a fellow of the Royal Society, an ultramarathoner, and a landscape photographer. In his photography he aims to capture the beauty of wild and remote places, seeking to convey a state of mind and a deeper meaning than the literal elements of a scene. Often, indeed, it is the light that becomes the subject, and the landscape itself plays only a supporting role.
