Over het boek
Humans Were Here is an investigation of man’s affect on the environment. Since our beginnings, humans have used the land around us to provide places to live, food to eat, and (more recently) every whim we desire. This use comes with a cost to the environment, and we have left much behind in wreckage. Instead of re-using and re-purposing, we chose to abandon and move on to the next new thing. What we leave behind slowly turns back to nature, but at what cost?
