JeBari Lewis
New Orleans LA
So, you've made it here, thank you! After a lifetime of writing, JeBari explores urban life impacted by hurricanes and intergenerational issues with an introspective that is almost intrusive in a new collection of poetry. JeBari holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Loyola University New Orleans and is the 2018 winner of the Chase Family Foundation Literary Contest. JeBari hopes to make his literary idols Toni Morrison and James Baldwin proud by creating art that destabilizes previously held notions about life.
