Over het boek
The approach I have taken here is to share, present and portray my family ancestral heritage of Cherokee as research reveals.
I have collected many components including stories, genealogy facts, historical evidence and images when possible.
My intent is to make enough connections with the combination of this information in order to repair what has been a taboo or shamed subject in my paternal grandmothers' lineage.
At best I will mend some threads and patch a few holes in this tattered tapestry.
I have included some of my recent paintings and stories as well.
