Over het boek
My Grandpa is a Korean War Marine veteran. This book was to be a small compilation of photos to preserve family history, but as I dove deeper, I realized that it could be so much more. It soon progressed into a comparison of South Korea’s economic and social developments between our two visits during my time abroad compared to his, then evolved into a journey of discovering the man I have only ever known as “Grandpa”.

Over de maker
I'm a photographer and visual artist born and raised in Summit, New Jersey. I recently received my BFA in Film, Photography & Visual Arts from Ithaca College. I utilize photography as a means to explore what makes me, me. The images I create document my life, my family, my home, and what happens when I finally leave the comfort of home.
