This volume contains over 100 paintings from 2007, posted on the blog: "Postcards from Detroit" by American Artist Stephen Magsig
The inspiration came from Duane Keiser's innovative A Painting a Day blog, and Julian Merrow-Smith's Postcard from Provence.
Postcards from Detroit is a visual diary of Detroit in paintings. Stephen started painting Detroit 25 years ago, and continues to find inspiration in the place he calls home.
Stephen's larger work can be seen the George Billis Gallery in NY & LA
Stephen's work is in over twenty corporate and museum collections and in hundreds of private collections.
He lives and works with his artist wife, Janet Hamrick and their two studio cats, Artie and Bella, in Ferndale, Michigan.
