The Brandstater Gallery is part of the Visual Art Center at La Sierra University. The gallery was established in 1984, with a donation from the children of Roy and Frances Brandstater – Rhona, Bernard, Murray and Lynne – as a legacy to honor their parents. The mission of the Brandstater Gallery of La Sierra University is to affirm the life-enhancing aesthetic and educational qualities of the visual arts by presenting challenging exhibits that provide our campus and community with culturally diverse, innovative, and scholarly exhibits presented in a stimulating and informative manner.
