Catherine and I visited Vancouver Island from June 24 to August 31, 2022. During that time, I was fortunate to have been on 27 whale watch trips, all out of French Creek Harbour, Parksville. I spent more than 100 hours on the Strait of Georgia.
The summer marked the second year Ocean EcoVentures operated out of French Creek Harbour. It was also the inaugural year of the company's newest vessel, a 33’ hard-sided vessel, powered by two 250 horsepower Suzuki outboards.
