It is dedicated to his Clan and his kin, and most particularly to the cherished memory his older brother, Robert David Menzies 1953-2007, who was born and died in winter. Gordon Richard Menzies, a.k.a. GRiM, was born in April 1966 in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada, a descendant of Scots pioneers who settled in Upper Canada in the 1830's and several generations of deer hunters. He is a published author of fiction and poetry, a portrait artist who works in graphite and oil, and he also works in the commercial real estate industry. When he is not fishing for bass and new poems on his private island, he lives by the river, in Calgary.
