Over het boek
A Splotch Monster's Guide to Northern Virginia Wildlife is a compilation of forty illustrations made during my summer artist residency at the Brambleton Library, in Loudoun County, VA. The book is an imaginative and unconventional way to introduce a variety of native northern Virginia animal species to both children and adults. The images can be used as creative writing prompts or simply as a means to spark the imagination. Ultimately, the artwork in this book is intended to get people interested in learning more about the wildlife they share their environment with, no matter what part of the world they live in.
