Over het boek
“I Had Things to Say, But Not the Words to Say Them” is a photo-essay that pairs Holocaust literature from survivors and liberators with modern photographs taken while at the camps of Dachau, Auschwitz, Majdanek, Ravensbrück, and Buchenwald. Through this essay, we hope to memorialize those who suffered and died under Nazi reign, by both simultaneously linking and distancing the landscapes of their past with those of our present. Furthermore, we hope to illustrate to our modern audience the present-day condition and nature of the camps.
