Over het boek
The belle project began in 1988 as a light hearted take on a well known painting reinterpreted in my next door neighbour's manger. Thus began the journey which has resulted in nearly 100 photographs ranging from the gently comic to the earth-shakingly serious. The project is on-going; when I complete a new 'opera' I add it to the canon and withdraw the previous edition, so that no edition sells more than half a dozen copies.

Originally from Oxford, Patrick graduated in Photographic Arts from the Polytechnic of Central London in 1977. Since he moved to Orvieto in Umbria, Italy, in 2007, Patrick has run his own art-photography gallery. He has spent his entire professional life in Italy, specialising in: Portraiture, Fashion, Landscape and Fine-Art Photography. He runs his own gallery in Corso Cavour 106, Orvieto. He also runs courses and masterclasses in photography.
