Over het boek
The second and third leg of Laura's two month travel sabbatical took her to Easter Island to venture out on the countryside roads in her rented Jeep, exploring the mysteries of the enormous stone Moai scattered throughout the island, where she also experienced some local customs and head some of the local history. Then, on to both Islands of New Zealand where she met up with her Mom to explore the native culture, wander with the sheep, trek up to a glacier and marvel at the natural diversity of the land. And then a brief trip to Australia to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef, revel at the myriad of bird colors, shapes and sizes, and take in the spectacular architectural feat of the Sydney Opera House. What an amazing span of four weeks to travel around Oceania. Enjoy the colors, textures and mystery contained in these pages...just a few of our memories.
