Over het boek
An 80 page book for fundraising for the relief of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami..
The book is an impression of Kyoto in spring, with Sakura and Hanami, the period for watching spring flowers. It shows the world of maikos and geishas and gives an impression of Kyoto as a city of temples, full of life. All these aspects of the city symbolize the eternal nature of the culture. It is a wish that the sorrows of the earthquake and tsunami will be overcome.
The book has been made from my visit to Kyoto in april 2010.

All proceeds of this book will go to the Netherlands Red Cross to support their fundraising campaign for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
