Brett Rudy is one of the co-founders of Charity Hop, a sports marketing firm that helps athletes raise money for their favority charity. Recognizing a glaring need for fundraising assistance to sports related organizations and charities, Rudy and his business partner, Mike Lembo, started the full service consulting business in 2006. With a vast array of professional athlete partners, clients and causes, Charity Hop is making their impact felt in the Boston philanthropic community and well beyond. Charity Hop is best known for their work with Charity Wines, an organization that releases wines that feature famed athletes and their causes. The athletes receive no compensation, donating all their proceeds to charity. Some of the partner athletes include David Ortiz of the Boston Red Sox, Jorge Posada of the New York Yankees, Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves, Ken Griffey Jr of the Cincinnati Reds, Dan Marino of the Miami Dolphins and Ray Bourque of the Boston Bruins.
