Over het boek
This book contains over 70 photographs from the 2011 Norfolk Botanical Garden Bald Eagle nesting season along with some from previous seasons. It also includes narrative explaining the nesting process and history of these Eagles while at Norfolk Botanical Garden.
There is a tribute to the female Bald Eagle who lost her life at Norfolk International Airport on April 26, 2011.
The photographs in this book end on April 24, 2011 and it does not include any release photographs of the three chicks because at the time this book was being finished they were still in the care of the Wildlife Center of Virginia and are scheduled to be released July 27, 2011.
I had a love hate relationship making this book seeing how what happened this year and how the nesting season was cut so short.

I have been photographing wildlife as a hobby since the fall of 2007. My main persuit is Avian photography but I will photograph any type of wildlife in the right setting, in the right light....etc. I hope my photographs inspire at least one person to get out and enjoy what Nature has to offer...life is too short to go around with blinders on.
