Over het boek
The galls, knots, and burls appearing on the trees are born from injury and sickness. In the process of healing - as in humanity - the tree covers its wounds with scars which create shapes and figures.
It is my desire that this collection of images will provide the experience of finding your interpretations within Nature’s curiously shaped knots and protrusions, as you discover Knot Illusions™.
Take time to search each photograph. Relax and let your eyes explore what is before you. You will be intrigued by what you find, and perhaps surprised at what others may see. You may just have a Knot Illusion™ !
This 40 page volume - Knot Illusions ™, Collection One - is a high quality, hard back fine art photographic book that should provide hours of fun to friends and family, as well as showcase nature's beauty in a way that perhaps you had not before imagined.

Over de maker
Wayne Nielsen is a native Floridian who has embraced photography for over 40 years. With a love for the beauty of nature, Wayne has taken his camera with him in search of interesting objects and shapes that occur naturally in the world around us. A graduate of the University of Florida, Wayne has worked in healthcare human resources for 30 years. Wayne and his spouse of over 30 years have two children. One of Wayne's greatest joys is sharing a well framed photograph - whether of absolute beauty, or curiously twisted shapes and figures. His ambition is to devote more time to photography as a profession. Taking his camera to remote places and people, Wayne's desire is to capture images that will inspire the mind and satisfy the visual, emotional, and intellectual senses.
