Over het boek
Someone wanted to destroy these photographic moments from the first half of the twentieth century. They took the trouble to rip each image in half and then threw the lot into the garbage. Tough luck then that I came along, fished the fragments out and eventually got round to piecing them all together again. Here are those salvaged moments from times long gone by.

I started out in photography in 1973 with my mum's old Kodak Brownie 127. Four Nikons, a Rolleiflex, two Hasselblads, two Leicas, a Noblex and almost forty years later, I still have fun using that Bakelite beauty with its single optic, fixed aperture and shutter speed. Long live film!
