Over het boek
TRACKSIDE: Images of a Railroad Shutterbug is a photo-journal of sorts, documenting Brian R. Sopke's more recent travels to photograph trains, including a year in Pueblo, Colorado. Also included are many images of the Pacific Northwest - mainly around the Portland, Oregon area - where Brian was born and raised.
Brian has selected narratives that he feels help tell the stories contained in the photos. He has experiencd first-hand the magic of the endless steel ribbons of rail that carry so much of the nations goods. Brian hopes the readers are able to experience that magic for themselves through the images contained in TRACKSIDE.
