Rosalie draws creative inspiration from her family roots as well as from her Metis, Cree and English heritage. This photo-based artist from Winnipeg, Manitoba uses everything from photo albums to pop culture to present a complex self-portrait of her experiences as a contemporary Aboriginal woman.
