Over het boek
Sibyl Bryce Llewellyn Fowler (1898 – 1969) and her husband Jack Llewellyn (1894 – 1948) lived big in Mineral Wells, Texas, during the era of oil wealth, mineral waters, and prohibition. Tragedy and unexpected death changed her life profoundly, and Sibyl found herself married to one of the wealthiest oil men of the time, Movle Fowler. This is a book not only about these intertwined characters, but also about a unique lifestyle during a unique era, largely told through Sibyl’s diary, guest book, and Crazy Hotel Press book. It proves that if you don’t want your secrets known, don’t keep a diary.
