His book, Red Dust Racers, on the almost forgotten Lake Perkolilli motor racing track in Western Australia was shortlisted at the Octane International Historic Motoring Awards for 2016, placing it as one of the top eight motoring books published that year. Another book., The Mighty MG Magnettes of 33, was honoured as Book of the Month in Classic & Sports Car Magazine and was shortlisted at the 2015 International Historic Motoring Awards.
