Over het boek
Condensed score and orchestral parts for Symphony 2 in G Major by Ron Naylor.
First movement is in sonata form, and comprises juxtaposed dance themes.
Second movement is spiral variations of a chorale theme through all the major keys.
Third movement is a light scherzo in sonata form for strings.
Fourth movement is a prelude and fugue with a sense of the opera, and a grandiose climax, but nothing like the Baroque organ works of J. S. Bach.
