Over het boek
The images in this book are a collection of my favourite sunset and night scenes from around Windsor, Ontario, Canada. All photos were taken within the boundaries of Essex County. From the abandoned decay of the Boblo Island Amusement Park and the short lived Windsor Dragway to the iconic Detroit Skyline and Ambassador Bridge as well as the dark and starry skies over Point Pelee National Park.

In between these instantly recognizable locations are random spots of beauty found in the backroads and farmlands on Essex County.

I have been photographing landscapes, night scenes, abandoned places and just about anything else for over 10 years. Born and raised in the flat landscape of Windsor, Ontario, you won't find photos of iconic mountain ranges and valleys here. I've learned to adapt to what is available to me, shooting the open spaces of the farmlands outside of the city and night scenes within it. Occasionally sneaking out of the city to explore the back roads around this province and searching for just a little variation in elevation.
