Over het boek
This is photographic study of the natural world in the small coastal village of Emerald Beach in Northern NSW, Australia. It is just a small illustration of the wonderful array of life and diversity that is around all of us if we take the time to look. It's easy to fall into the "Greener Pastures" syndrome and only expect to see something new and exciting in exotic places or imagine it's all better somewhere else. It amazes me when some sees an image and is surprised to find it's something living alongside them. Of course it's also gratifying to have someone point out the beauty of simple object or common creature that we normally just take for granted. Children often have an uncanny knack of making us see things fresh again. This volume concentrates on things with scales and claws!
