Over het boek
This 5 day UNBC program explored the Abandoned Towns of Northwest BC. This experiential adventure provides exclusive access to some of British Columbia’s most restricted ghost towns. The remoteness and history of these fabled towns will amaze even those without an interest in the eerie past of these boom and bust communities.
The tour explores the modern day ghost town of Kitsault, vacant for 30 years, the remote and historic mining town of Anyox - "The Town that got Lost", the isolated silver mining town of the 1930’s on the rugged coast - Alice Arm, and explores the abandoned cannery town of Port Essington, the Skeena railway community of Dorreen and the First Nations history of the Kitselas Canyon.
