The Chernobyl disaster was a catastrophic nuclear accident that occurred on 26 April 1986 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine. Photographer Andre Joosse visited The Zone of Alienation several times to document it. This book shows photos taken in The Zone, 30 years after the disaster.
