Over het boek
An affectionate photographic portrait of the people who own the unique beach huts along the North Kent coast, a flat area of shingle beach and marshland along the old Saxon Shore Way.
Climate change and rising sea levels are a threat to the survival of these colourful huts, some dating back to the 1950's, and some have already been demolished to make way for caravan parks or other developments.

Angie is interested in recording places, the natural world and ways of life that are under threat from development, economic pressures or environmental change. Using a variety of cameras, both film and digital, her colour photographs try to represent an accurate visual record of time and place. Angie has exhibited her photographic prints at the Horsebridge Gallery in Whitstable, the Ebbisham Centre in Epsom, Bourne Hall in Ewell and the Reigate School of Art and Design where she studied photography. A selection of photographs are available as greetings cards.
