Over de maker
David Palazón (1972, Barcelona) is a visual artist working in the fields of conceptual documentary photography and filmmaking, design, production and curation of research-based projects. He studied at the London College of Communication, Royal College of Art and the EICTV in Cuba. Driven by a curious nature for exploration and with a unique sense of humour, his work is a constant enquiry about the human condition. David’s work has been shown worldwide and is held in private collections. His documentary films ‘Mermaids of Timor-Leste' and the ‘Sacred House’ have received international awards. His photobook ‘Timor Runguranga’ is part of the TATE’s Martin Parr photobook collection. Among a long list of exhibitions and film festivals, he participated at the 2018 Singapore International Photography Festival and the 2017 Athens Photo Festival part of Documenta 14.
