Over het boek
A short series of images from the area around Eyam, the Plague Village, inspired by the events of 1666, intending to express the sense of isolation of their quarantine.
In 1665, the bubonic plague reached Eyam, a small, lead-mining village in Derbyshire. The villagers volunteered to quarantine themselves. Three-quarters of the population died; their neighbours survived.

Travelling since I was six months old, writing since I was tiny, photographing for the last fifty years and trying to save the planet for the last thirty. Possibly due to this experience I am more successful at travelling than the others, but...still working on it.
