We can always use some good news, can’t we? Some good news to help us in life, not to get us down. That says, “I love you. It’s going to be OK.” That’s the spirit with which Jesus comes to us. In His inaugural “sermon” in His hometown of Nazareth, he announced: "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me
to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor." Luke 4:18-19 Jesus comes with “good news for the poor.” That is Christ’s message and the mission of Love At Work Ministries as well.
