After earning her BFA from Pratt Institute in 1980 when the convergence of art and technology was in its infancy, Dunham held positions in a number of related fields from product/packaging/graphic design and advertising to floral/event design, and PR which ultimately lead a position in her late forties as gallery assistant at Mark Borghi Fine Art (MBFA) in Bridgehampton NY. In the summer of 2009.The following fall during the Hampton’s off-season, Dunham explored the notion of renting artwork which led to a freelance curator position with Art Rent and Lease (ARL) based in Portland, Oregon. She served as the east coast curator placing artwork including her own paintings in corporate offices from Wall Street to Midtown in NYC and in Philadelphia and with film and television set designers. Lynn is an interdisciplinary artist.
