DeVoCustoms is a service that DeVo started where he hand-paints on jean jackets, flannels, and other garments. After seeing success with a jean shirt he painted for fun, people got interested and wanted to buy. The business grew organically over time. Volume I is a compilation of DeVo's most pivotal pieces that illustrates this growth and speaks to the journey of the artist. Volume I offers high-quality images of the pieces as well as what DeVo calls.... 'Short Stories' that capture his thought process through each major milestone both positive and negative. While this is mainly biographical, the essence of the book aligns with DeVoCustom's core belief: 'Everyone is creative." DeVoCustoms is a service that empowers the customer as they generate an idea or concept of what they want on their garment. DeVo looks like the creator when really he is simply executing the customers' ask. With that, the ethos of Volume I is to inspire.
