A. Body Image: Men's Edition is about people who are born genetically male, regardless or orientation, and how they feel about their body. With today's generation, females have started to categorize men into two different body groups: "Dad Bods" and "Fit". Most females hate being categorized by their body type, so why should we do that to men? This project is supposed to bring awareness that men of all ages, shapes and ethnicities have body images issues as well. I have captured several body types focusing on the insecurities that different men face, but will not come forward because of the stigma that men are strong minded people. This project captures how each body is different. The relationship between the subject and the photographer is very important. The subjects were very vulnerable towards photographer through interviews. Hopefully, this project shapes your viewpoint towards categorizing men by their body types and bring awareness that men have just as many body images issues as females.
