This is a story of four boys on a hiking trip celebrating twenty years of friendship. This group of boys, in their early thirties, represents most boys as they begin to learn they are not sixteen and are becoming adults. The four of them represent a cross-section of boys at this time in their lives. All come from the same small town in rural America.
