An exhibition catalogue of the four year project Cicatrix: the scar of a healed wound. Cicatrix is a multimedia international touring project, funded by Arts Council England and the British Council. It incorporates digital, sound, installation, drawing, printmaking, painting and film. It has toured since 2014 throughout the South West of England, across Commonwealth countries and as far away as New Zealand and concludes in Montreal at the end of 2018. The exhibitions have given further insight into the WW1 legacy surrounding Salisbury Plain through the artists' interpretations of this scarred and ancient landscape and its connections across the globe. Henny Burnett Susan Francis Prudence Maltby have collaborated with artists from Commonwealth countries Australia, Canada and New Zealand , all of whom would have had troops train on Salisbury Plain during the First World War.
