Over het boek
Hemingway once said his best story was only six words: “For Sale: baby shoes, never worn.” As a closing exercise for Advanced Placement Literature course, I asked students to summarize in six words several of the works we read: Turn of the Screw, Hamlet, "Bartleby the Scrivener", "The Yellow Wallpaper", The Awakening, A Room of One's Own, Crime and Punishment, and Heart of Darkness. They approached the task with their usual enthusiasm and humor. Read on and enjoy.
