The title of the book, NPCseed, is derivative of "non-player character" or NPC, used to refer to side characters in computer role playing games. Containing 67 reproductions of ink paintings on paper, NPCseed is a manifesto on 2D organisms, and 2D life in the world. The pictures are representations of a fictional pre-production of living, autonomous, AI cartoons. As fantasy concept, they are not living cartoons, but rooted in this fiction and part of a world building exercise.
