In the tradition of Japanese woodcuts, the artist has created forty eight images, in colored pencil and pastel on paper, of the area of Brooklyn, including the communities of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Boerum Hill, Gowanus and Park Slope, collectively known as Brownstone Brooklyn.
