21st Century Hot Rods is the eighth book in the Car Art series and the fourth featuring images of hot rods. The aim here is to provide a look at what styles of hot rods people are driving and enjoying in the early 21st century whether they were just built or have been around for decades. Many are pristine, perfectly finished show cars and others are daily drivers or at least driven often. Some are still driven in races and other sorts of competitions.

I have tried to include as wide a variety of different vehicles, styles, levels of finish and events as possible in a book of this length. As in all my car art books, I have attempted to show these objects of their owners love and creativity artistically and as the works of art I see them as. Many of the images have been modified during post processing and were not as they looked right out of the camera.

This book is a portfolio containing over 150 mostly color images. The photographs in this book were taken between 2008 and 2019 mostly at car events in different parts of the United States.
