II love this place. I love going there, and I love photographing there. It is such a place of peace and serenity for me. The chanting of the monks and the faithful seems to fit right in to the spirit which guides my photography. The monks are very friendly, not in a solicitacious way but in a very spiritual way. Anyone who comes at a mealtime is invited to sit at table with everyone else and partake. In Canada this seems a bit strange, as a meal does not have as much significance here as in some countries, where it can mean the difference between life and starvation. I present here processed photos of the temple, hopefully made in the reverent spirit I feel for it, and hopefully accenting the beauty and peacefulnes, as well as the deep mystery, of the place.

Hi. I'm Larry Christopher. I am now 75 years old, and have been taking pictures most of my life. I come from a family of photographers, both my Dad and my brother having great influence on me. I live near fabulous Agassiz British Columbia where one learns to take pictures outdoors even on rainy days. Members of my family include my son and his wife Rob and Liz, and my dayghter Teresa. Thanks to them I also have two wonderful grandchildren Aidan and Adam, and a good friend Desirae. My wife Carol has been a great help and partner to me since 1965.
