The Spirit Of Brooklands is the culmination of four years work by photographer Douglas Kurn to document the remains of the Brooklands Motor racing circuit. The circuit has not been used for motor racing since the start of the Second World War and has been in a state of decline. To contrast with how the track was during race days Douglas chose to shoot at night and only when it was completely still. This resulted in some beautiful yet eerie results which are are presented in this book.
