He worked on cattle drives and wagon trains, and while riding with Butch Cassidy, found the upper Green River Valley. He would wind up homesteading in Wyoming on the Upper Green in the late 1800's, building up a fine ranch, and raising three boys. There were many adventures and many hardships. It is a story of building the west.

I'm a retired rancher with three grown girls. "Will" is written about my grandfather who homesteaded on the upper Green River in Wyoming. I live within twenty miles of there, and always have. I have a "stable mate" who is also my soul mate. We have five horses and ride a lot., but he is also a pilot and we fly a lot. Our riding consists of cowboying for ranchers, and packtripping in the Wind Rivers. We have a rescued cat who considers us his staff. Photography is also a passion. I dabble in painting for my own pleasure. I have done a lot of traveling and "rving", but I sort of enjoying being home and writing and painting. In the winters we enjoy snowmobiling. My girls and grandchildren are my greatest joy. I am a member of the Green River Valley Cattlemen's Association, Pinedale Chapter # 39 OES, Sublette County Artist Guild, and Mixed Media and a bridge club. I love our bridge club. We have been called the Golden Girls.
