Becca Drach began making art again in 2005 after many years lapse from painting in oils, it was something she had aspired to do since early childhood and did paint from the age of 10 until her early 20s, then other aspects of life summoned her. She paints using the Direct Method, otherwise known as “alla prima”. After the painting began in 2005, many subjects were explored, including the illustrations for Raspberries. It was a joy to do.
