Over de maker
John O. Roy discovered his love of photography a decade ago when his father-in-law gave him a gift of a digital camera. In the years that followed, John learned about photography through self-actualization, a mentor and through several workshops at a local community college. In the Spring of 2006, John decided to make photography a larger part of his life’s focus, so he enrolled in a professional photography program at The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. There John refined his photography skills with one on one instruction with world class photographers. The school was a great learning experience for John both personally and professionally. (John finished his course work in the winter of 2007.) John’s approach to photography is sometimes unique. He is not afraid to use a wide angle lens to give his work a more unique look. In fact, John did a whole series of wide angle portraits for his final project.
