The Cordova Kid is my account of growing up in rural Kentucky in the 1950s and 60s. Often humorous, and sometimes poignant, it is a snapshot of life on a very small patch of America long ago. Many in my age group will find a lot in common with how they grew up. It was a less complex era that had far more in common with 1900 than with 2000.
